When I first discovered this beautiful hotel, I just knew I had to visit! After all, pink is my favorite color, and the 50’s style ice cream parlor sounded too scrumptious to pass up.

The Front Entrance
As it turns out, The Don Cesar is not just stunning, but also has an amazing history. It was first built it 1928 and was visited by members of high society, including F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Walking on Sunshine
In the 1940s it was used by the military during the war.

Historical Significance
In the late 60s and early 70s, it was going to be closed and possibly torn down, but a small committee from St. Pete came together to save and refurbish it.

Lipstick: Rimmel London
Just three years later it was added to the National Register of Historic Places, and it is now fully functioning resort once again.

View from the beach side of the resort
It has been featured in many movies and TV shows, and its not hard to see why!

Dress: New York & Company
For my outfit, I decide to match the white trimmings of the hotel while adding a few pops of pink. You can find similar dresses to mine
here and
here.

Shoes: DownEast
Although I did not take pictures of the ice cream parlor, it was delightful and the ice cream was delicious! They also posted a joke of the day which I found adorable.

Clutch: J. Crew (unfortunately they no longer have this exact color)
As a contrast to the outside, the lobby and main floor is blue.

Hallway leading the Ballroom
I absolutely loved visiting this hotel and am definitely planning a beach escape in the near future! What are some of your favorite weekend retreats?

We love that place too. Stands out when you are anywhere near. Love the innocence that you show in all of the photos where you are included.
Reminds me of The Biltmore Hotel here in Miami. Rich in history and incredibly gorgeous!
So gorgeous! Love the contrast between the pink and the blue inside the resort. And your whole outfit is super cute! š
