One of my favorite things about Tampa is being so close the the beach!

Swimsuit: American Eagle (This links to the navy color since black is sold out!)

In the past, I have always stuck with two-piece swimsuits. I found them to be easier to wear than one-pieces, and I felt that most one-pieces were either too revealing, or not flattering. To be honest, for someone my size, finding any swimsuit that fit properly and looked flattering used to be quite the challenge.

However, in the past few years one-piece swimsuits have been making a comeback. I found this one out of many choices from American Eagle Outfitters, a store which has primarily produced bikinis in the past.

I like the simplicity of this swimsuit, but also love the detailing in the back. It also is really high quality, which is plus since I bought it for only $28! It really can go with anything, and will most likely be my go to swimsuit in future travels.

As far as places I usually prefer to purchase swimwear, here are a few of my favorites:

  1. Shop Stevie – Great one-pieces at great prices! I love the variety in styles and the fact  that the owner created her own line!
  2. Lime Ricki –  I tend to buy my tankinis from here! They have super cute peplum tops!
  3. Piper and Scoot –  These tend to run a little higher in price range ($70-200) but that is because they offer beautiful suits from designers such as Kate Spade and Vince Camuto. I personally adore the Kate Spade suits (but that’s because I love all things Kate Spade).
  4. Target –  I haven’t found them to be that great in the past, but this year Target has really stepped up their swimsuit game! They also have tons of options to choose from, although most are found only online.
