You might have realized that my husband and I love food. We are really lucky to live in Tampa Bay, because there are almost too many amazing places to eat (I say almost because in reality you can never have too many). I used to really dis-like breakfast food, but later I realized I just was eating the wrong kind of breakfast food for my taste. I’m not too fond of eggs or sausage, but I’ll demolish biscuits and gravy. So long story short, I have been reformed of my ways and am now a full-on brunch supporter. Today I’ll be listing my currently most-loved brunch places in Tampa Bay (in no particular order), as well as a few other places I want to try that I have heard are amazing.
- The Brunchery (Valrico, FL)
There is actually two restaurants called the Brunchery in Tampa, but this one is my personal favorite. The menu is huge and they always have specials which are also usually seasonal. Bonus: You can get it to go.
Favorite thing: Strawberry Stuffed French Toast (or Pumpkin in the fall), Grilled Muffins
Yes I’ve mentioned Oxford Exchange a million times. Yes I will continue to sing its praises because it really is that good. They only offer their brunch menu on the weekends, but the breakfast and lunch menus are equally as amazing.
Favorite thing: Avocado Toast, Fruit Teas

Apple Cinnamon Tea
They have a really extensive menu, and everything is great, but their sandwiches are what they’re best known for.
Favorite Thing: Mediterranean Chicken Pesto Sandwhich
4. L’Eden
A French restaurant that’s actually owned and run by French people! Who would’ve thought? Every time I have gone here I have tried something new and every time it has been delicious. Even the salad! And we all know how much I love salad (I don’t).
Favorite Thing: Quiche Lorraine; Crepe with Butter, Sugar, and Almonds
As the name suggests, this place specializes in egg based dishes. However, there are plenty of other good options for those of us who aren’t egg lovers.
Favorite Thing: Cheese Blintzes (In case you were wondering, this consists of two blintz crepes filled with Nuefchatel cheese and orange zest atop warm strawberry compote, dusted with powdered sugar and topped with whipped cream. Hungry yet?)
Honorable Mentions: Keke’s Breakfast Cafe and First Watch
Yes they are chains, but they’re really good chains so its okay. If you haven’t tried either of them, then you should.
Favorite Thing:
Kekes: Raspberry Stuffed French Toast First Watch: Avocado Toast
Places I want to try: The Refinery, Daily Eats, Ciccio Cali, Datz
I can vouch for Ciccio Cali and Datz for lunch/dinner, but their brunch menus look so delish! So much food, so little time.
What is your go-to brunch place where you live? And if you are from Tampa, have you been to any of these places?
Side Note: I apologize for the lack of pictures. I have a really bad habit of eating food as soon as it arrives.
Brunch is my fave!! I have tried Keke’s in Orlando and loved it! Now I know where to go when in Tampa 🙂
I’ve heard GREAT things about Oxford exchange! 😍
