We spent 3 days in Las Vegas, which I felt was an ample amount of time. During our stay, we were also lucky enough to stay and visit with family. We did quite a lot and enjoyed all of it, so I highly recommend everything you’re about to read!

Las Vegas is an interesting place when you don’t drink, gamble, (or even party). Ultimately when planning our stay there I wanted to find other things to do in Vegas besides just the strip. I really loved Seven Magic Mountains because unlike the rest of the city, it was bright and colorful and really stood out against the brown desert colors. I also felt that Valley of Fire would be cool to visit seeing as my husband had never seen the desert before.
‘O’ was fantastic, although I wouldn’t expect anything less from Cirque de Soleil. And we really enjoyed Wicked Spoon, which we now claim is the best buffet we’ve ever been to. This is because at only $21 with a massive selection and wide variety of delicious foods, it offers the most bang for your buck.
Overall, Las Vegas is one of those ‘must-do’ cities, and since we have family there I am sure we’ll visit again and hopefully find new places to explore.
Have you ever wanted to experience a city in a different way than most people? What city and why?
