High Waisted Jeans: Three Ways

Shopping for jeans does not come easy to me. Most of the time, jeans are either too wide or too short (or in some cases, both at once). High-waisted skinny jeans are my favorite, and are extra hard for me to find. A few years back I had a pair I loved from Forever 21, but understandably, they didn’t last long.

I had been looking for a new pair of jeans for a little while that fit my ‘impossible’ standards which were:

1) Fit Properly 2) Quality Made 3) Relatively Inexpensive

I had been considering the Madewell since I have heard so many good things, but they’re a little out of my price point. So when the brand Denizen reached out to me and offered to gift me a pair, it seemed like it was meant to be.

Denizen are a Levi’s brand found at both Khol’s and Target. I have worn this particular pair of jeans quite a few times and they are already my favorite pair I own. Not only do they check off everything my list, but they are also very comfortable. And since high-waisted jeans are my favorite, I thought it would be fun to create a little style guide. So without further ado, here are 3 different ways to style high-waisted skinny jeans.

Look 1: Casual Friday

In my office, Fridays are the only day we can wear jeans. Keep this look professional by adding a blazer and some basic pointed toe flats.

Blazer: H&M Top: Uniqlo Shoes: Amazon

Look 2: Brunch Date

This look is my favorite of the three, mainly because I love blush pink. My husband and I enjoy all dates that involve food, and brunch dates are no different. If you’re in the South Florida area, one of our favorite places is Louie Bossi.

Look 3: Disney Day

This look is perfect for a day at Disney or just any day you want to represent #disneystyle. Unfortunately both the shirt and the shoes are no longer available, but one of my favorite places to buy Disney shirts is Uniqlo.

You can shop my exact pair of jeans here.

Which look was your favorite?
